The past several decades has (have) witnessed the rapid advance (advancement) of globalization of this world, as is indicated (manifest) by the international flights transporting people from country to country. With increased chances to get exposed to foreign countries and cultures, many people start to wonder what is the best way (the best way is) to learn about another country. From my perspective, visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country. My reasons are as follows. To begin with, it is an effective way to learn about a country by visiting museums.(Omit this) A(a) museum usually includes several well-organized exhibitions with different topics, enabling the visitors to know about several aspects of the country in a short time. Visiting a museum is a multi-sensory experience, which includes looking at the exhibits, reading the introductions and listening to narrations and so on (Omit this), making the visitors quickly immersed in the exotic culture. Also, with increasing number of global tourists, most museums provide introduction columns and booklets written in several languages, which makes the knowledge easily accessible to foreign tourists. Additionally, the (Omit the article.) museums’ themes and forms are quite various, showing the country in distinct ways. Nowadays, there’s (there is) not only traditional history museums and art museums, but also museums themed with railway, water system (systems) and even toys. This (These) seemingly trivial themes can actually reflect the change in people's life in a country. Also, some museums are built at a distinct position, so that the visitors can gain a special experience visiting them. I once visited the museum of Arrow town, a small town in the south New Zealand. The museum is mainly about the local gold mine, which is also the reason people went there in the old days. In (At) the outdoor exhibition area, there are the (Omit the article) relics of mud-made huts and burrows in which the Chinese workers lived a hundred years ago, astonishing me deeply because of its (their) feeble structure and terrible environment. I also came to understand New Zealand’s immigration history and its connection with my own country more deeply, which can not be learnt elsewhere. In a nutshell, visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country because of the efficiency and the variety of knowledge and experiences it offers.
