It is true that people live in contemporary society today are suffering from obesity. There are sundry reasons call for this, but steps can definitely be taken to tackle the problem.
In my opinion, people tend to consume abundant food than ever before, eating much more than they need, thus leading to a quite unhealthy eating habit. For example, eating fatty food and drinking fizzy drinks instead of obtaining nutritions from vegetables and fruits. Secondly, officers and students are suffering from obesity because of their sedentary jobs or lifestyles which also endangers their health. Finally, the rapid way that modern people live contributes to the trend of health decline, working over time without rest.
To curb the problems we are facing above, I partake that self-control about the amount and kind of food we choose to intake should be a priority. We may learn how to prepare meals, start with buying fresh ingredients and then enjoying a balanced diet instead of eating outside too often, which may help us to combat obesity. Finding time for those who live a hectic life is also crucial, meaning that they could do physical activities, simply like going for a jog after work, go to offices or schools on foot or cycling, which could help to burn calories and build strength to keep a good body shape. Extreme stress which could hurt our health condition is likely to be released when we live closer to nature, so going a hike or breathing the fresh air in gardens during spare time are good options.
In conclusion, people will continue to face the problems connected to weight, health and body shape unless eating habits, physical activities and relaxation opportunities are put in proper consideration.
