TASK RESPONSE.
The diagram presented illustrates how cocoa beans are harvested and processed to produce liquid chocolate.
On the whole, it is lucid that the process involves ten stages, starting with the collection ripe red cocoa pods from the tree to the pressing of the inner part to produce chocolate liquid.
Cocoa trees are massively grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. The cocoa pods turn red when ripe, before they are harvested or picked, and the white cocoa beans extricated. The extracted white beans are fermented then spread out in the sun to dry. The dry beans are packed in large sacks and transported by either train or truck to factories for further processing.
At the factory, the beans are roasted at 350 °C prior to being squidged in a grinder so as to remove the outer shell. Lastly, the inner part of the bean is pressed to produce liquid chocolate.
