You travelled by plane last week and your suitcase was lost. You have still heard nothing from the airline company.
Write to the airline and
• explain what happened
• describe your suitcase and tell them what was in it

TASK RESPONSE.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you regarding my suitcase i lost on the Kenya Airways flight from Beijing to Nairobi on April 14th. On my arrival to Nairobi for my holidays, I reported the matter to the aircraft counter staff at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. I was asked for my hotel contacts so they can give me a call when they find it, but till now, no reply.
It is a brown leather suitcase with black handles and a side buckle strap. In it were my clothes, my JVC camera which I was to use to take photos and various souvenirs I bought in Beijing during my short holiday there. The items in there are extremely dear to me.
I am leaving Nairobi on 22 April for home in India and hope this matter can be settled before I leave.
