I am writing to express my concern about the local city bus in my neighborhood. I live on Earl’s Boulevard that is a few kilometers to the place of my work and thus have to take Bus 16 route to and from my workplace.
My main concern is the deteriorating sanitary condition of the bus. The bus seats are worryingly torn and old, emitting a stink that pierces the nose as one enters the bus. Most of the windows are now to old to open and thus the smell is trapped within the bus, making the journey so unbearable. Coupled with the ever-crowded situation, the bus is becoming unhealthy for sundry of us.
I propose an overhaul of the buses on this route, especially the seats and windows. You could begin by removing the seats that are obviously no longer suitable for paying commuters. I also suggest the windows are renovated or new ones put in place to replace the old that can no longer be opened.
I will be grateful if changes are made.
