Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Because modern life is very complex, it is essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize.
TEST TAKER'S RESPONSE.
Confronted with a ‘Big Bang era' when amounts of information and unexpected events burst, it is easy for people, especially the unexperienced young generation, to feel at loss at what to do andMIS lose the balance between different tasks. From my own perspective, it is principal for young people to master the skill of planning and organizing.
First and foremost, planning and organising enable young people to keep a balance between different affairs. Just like if somebody is assigned to too much work in company and it lacks the ability to schedule them well, it may become burst-out during the process and fail to finish them. The case of modern life is similar to this. Faced with the too much information and uncertainty, it is impossible for people to stay at ease every day because challenges are everywhere .Unless dealing with these challenges properly by scheduling time and arranging tasks well, people would found setbacks here and there because when they want to put their heart into something, another task may occur disturbingly. Take my college life as an example, in addition to the mountainous curriculum tasks, I was the chairman of the student’s union and had to deal with student affairs everyday, which could be extremely time-consuming. It is my ability to rank tasks by their priorities and utilising all available time that got me through those challenging times.
Moreover, planning and organising help the young take most advantage of their valuable youth time to fulfil their dreams. As a famous motto in Harvard University goes,’ This moment nap, you will have a dream; but this moment study, you will interpret a dream.’ Considering the fact that the time of making effort is the foundation of success, scheduling and arranging tasks contributes a lot to people’s achievement because they prevent people from wasting too much time on mistakes and trials. Otherwise, young people may get stuck because they might mot deal with nowadays’ confusing information and complicated situations well like sophisticated people. What’s more, planning ahead increases people’s efficiency because they can have a clear mind about how their tasks should be arranged, thus leading people to the achievement of their goals.
Taking the reasons above into consideration, I strongly believe that young people should be well equipped with the ability of planning and organising.
