Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In my country, young people have better lives than their parents had when they were young. Use reasons and examples to support your answer.

TASK RESPONSE.
There is unbelievable transposition of society in many ways, breeding a great change in the lives yesteryears and now. Undoubtedly, youngsters in my society are relishing life more than their parents did many years ago.
To start with, the great advancement in technology has changed life greatly in that today, the young have phones and access to the internet, things that were a myth to sundry old people back then. Communication is easier today and youngsters are making friends from all over the world with ease. Past years communication was hard as our parents had to write letters that could take months to reach their destinations, if the so reached anyway. Contemporary society has seen changes, with mobile phones enabling communication instantly. The social applications on the internet have helped build communities of friends in various parts of the world. Our parents only hard small circles of friends within their communities. Even visiting friends a distance from home was quite a take.
Suffice to note, there are a lot of entertainment today for the young to enjoy than there were in the past. With increased leisure time and numerous entertainments like movies, television shows and sports, the young can change from one entertainment activity to another. Hundreds of television channels offer a wide range of movies, soap operas and music shows. Our parents were limited to a few entertainment slots, most especially within their local setup. Even though there were black and white televisions, they offered fewer channels than there are today. Sprots activities were not as multifarious as they are today. I love football, but at the same time love music so much. I switch from one television channel from another because I know the times they are aired.
It is sagacious to say young people in contemporary society have a better and more enjoyable life than their parents had years ago, especially because of the advancement in technology and spiraled entertainment opportunities.
