Movies and television strongly influence the way people behave. Do you agree or disagree? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.

TASK RESPONSE.
The increased forms of entertainment are creating a concern among people, with many believing movies and television impact people’s behavior. I will delve in supporting my claim that movies and televisions do have an impact on people’s behavior.
First off, movies and televisions are brimmed with celebrity information, tidings youngsters admire and are wholeheartedly ready to imitate or emulate. It is common to find youngsters wearing what they saw their idols wearing on television. In some extreme cases, they even try to imitate their way of walking, talking and even overall lifestyle. In a way, they are changing their behavior and character because of what they are seeing on televisions. It is a trend for youngsters to sit on televisions and watch their favorite idols for hours on end. It is this love for such people and the urge to imitate them that leads to more severe consequences, including theft. A good boy yesterday would admire an expensive dress a celebrity wore on a show, evoking the urge to steal so as to get it. Others actually adopt an antisocial behavior and end up alienating themselves from society as they sit to watch televisions and movies for hours.
It is an indefeasible fact that televisions and movies can influence innate personality of a person. Many are educative and advocate for different changes for the better in life. One cardinal example is the young environmental activist Grata, a girl who has famed because of her strong will to fight for the betterment of the environment. Her actions have changed many in regard to how they perceive the manner in which humans have damaged the environment, leading to a change of behavior. That said, there are movies and television shows that have had great toll on many youngsters negatively. The wish to do what is done in movies has led many teens astray, and cases of teenage crime, including gun violence have become common. According to the issue published by Global Health Policy on 8th July 2022, child and teen gun mortality was on a hike in the United States.
I do sum by saying movies and televisions do have an impact on people’s behavior both positively and negative, especially the urge to imitate or do what is seen in the films and television shows.
