PART1
Topic: Music
Q. What types of music do you like to listen to? [Why?]
A. The kind of music I love most is reggae. It is a mixture of Caribbean and Afrobeat. I love other kinds of music too however, the cardinal message in most reggae songs is peace and harmony. The music genre advocates for unity among people, which to me is important. I also love slow music and hip hop.
Q. At what times of day do you like to listen to music? [Why?]
A. I often move with my music iPad and listen to music when on the move in traffic jams. I also listen to music when jogging. The greatest time is night time when I listen to slow music in bed. It is soothing and often makes me sleep quite quickly.
Q. Did you learn to play a musical instrument when you were a child? [Why/Why not?]
A. I fancied playing a guitar because I thought it was easier than other instruments, I was wrong. It turned out to be hard, especially balancing the taps of the fingers at the front and the base of the guitar. I admit I totally failed and never tried any instrument again, though still love to learn one.
Q. Do you think all children should learn to play a musical instrument? [Why/Why not?]
A. It would be great for children to learn to play a musical instrument. Admittedly, not all children can learn playing a musical instrument because it is an innate talent. Playing a musical instrument can help refresh a child. It creates harmony among children, and enhances team work. In any case, it can later turn out to be a source of income.
