The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production in France in two years. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
TASK RESPONSE.
The pie charts exhibit various energy sources in a given nation in the years 1995 and 2005.
For a general perspective, production from coal and gas was lofty, while petrol production slackened enormously. Other sources and nuclear production hiked exorbitantly, despite remaining the least sources among all.
In 1995, coal produced a staggering 29.80, almost the same as gas, and petrol at 29.63% and 29.27% respectively. By 2005, the figures for coal and gas moderately spiraled to 30.93% and 30.31%, respectively compared to production by petrol that shrunk by almost 10% to 19.55%.
Production from other energy sources was minimal, with other sources as a means of production according 4.9% of energy production, though production from nuclear was ideally a little higher at 6.4%. By 2005, the difference between ‘other’ and nuclear sources of production was negligible, at 9.10% as nuclear energy use slightly grew by a small margin to reach 10.10% respectively.
