PART 1:
Topic: Neighbours
Q 1. How often do you see your neighbours? [Why/Why not?] Answer: It is no often that I see my neighbors because people in my city are usually as busy as bees. It is on very few occasions, like public holidays that one can see a number of people, especially in the parks. During weekends it is quite possible to meet a few people.
Q 2. Do you invite your neighbours to your home? [Why/Why not?] Answer: Yes, I do, especially during public holidays because it is when they have free time. We share a lot about our city. Besides, it also keeps me updated with the news and events that are taking place in my city. I also like to share special events like a birthday parties, or a religious event with them.
Q 3. Do you think you are a good neighbour? [Why/Why not?] Answer: Well, I cannot make a good judgement of myself, I think my neighbors can be in a better position to appraise me because they can make judgement of my character or behavior. I do however think I am a reasonably decent human being with some traits of a good neighbour. I think and act rationally, avoid doing anything that might disturb my neighbours or contrary to the culture and norms required of me, and extend my helping hands. I believe my neighbours would say that I am a decent neighbour.
Q 4. Has a neighbour ever helped you? [Why/Why not?] Answer: Yes, being a good neighbour myself, I have had a chance of being helped by my neighbors. Recently, a good neighbor of mine helped me take my old father to the hospital after he fell in the bathroom, and without her prompt act and help, things could have been much worse.
