EXAMPLE
Topic - Friends:
Q. Do you have many friends? [Why/Why not?]
Q. How often do you go out with friends? [Why/Why not?]
Q. Tell me about your best friend at school.
Q. How friendly are you with your neighbours? [Why/Why not?]
Q. Which is more important to you, friends or family? [Why?]
Q. Do you have many friends? [Why/Why not?]
Sure I do. I have many friends though I would say some are real close while others not so. I have childhood friends with whom we have played since we were little. Most of my friends are of the same age as me, if there is any difference in age, it is just a few years more or less than I am.
Q. How often do you go out with friends? [Why/Why not?]
I usually go out with my friends if there is time. At least every once in two weeks we either go out for dinner or just a simple walk since it is not always that we have money for dinner or going to the cinemas.
Q. Tell me about your best friend at school.
James is my childhood friend. We have lived and studied in the same schools till now. He is a tall handsome boy, funny but at the same time intelligent. Just like me, James likes football and volleyball. He never misses watching a football match especially when his favorite team Beijing Guan is playing.
Q. How friendly are you with your neighbours? [Why/Why not?]
People in my neighborhood are friendly especially because they have lived in this area for years and know each other well. They are helpful and welcoming. One might not realize how friendly they are because they are usually busy. But when one of them gets an issue of concern is when you will see how good they are.
Q. Which is more important to you, friends or family? [Why?]
Undoubtedly family is more important, as they say, blood is thicker than water. Family members know you well and understand your likes and dislikes better than friends because they stay with you more than a friend does. It is easy to change friends but not to change family.
